YOUTH MINISTRY

Mother’s Day – Many thanks to all who helped prepare, serve and clean up for this much anticipated strawberry shortcake treat for the women of our parish.  It was a happy day.

Father’s Day – June 18 – We will once again be serving apple pie and ice cream to honor the men of our parish on this  day as well as serving the usual “Coffee and…”  We ask our students and graduates to help in setting up, serving and cleaning up.

Bowling Event – Our loving thanks go to Helen Zeleniuk for chairing this event which had not been held since the covid epidemic.  Twenty children attended and had a fantastic time.  We are grateful to Helen for taking on this responsibility.  An anonymous donor generously paid for this entire event.

Memorial Day – Once again we thank Kim Irvin for chairing the project of laying flags on veterans’ graves in our cemetery.  She also ordered the new flags that were paid for by a donation from Andrea Tolomea, Emrick Prestash’s daughter, in his memory. Those participating in this activity were: Fr. Andrii, Kim, Lilah and Olivia Irvin, Heather, Clara and Genna Duffy, Melissa, Lou and Cora Josefiak, and Nataliya and Arina Sashchenko.  May God grant all who participated in these events MANY BLESSED YEARS!  MNOHAYA LITA!

Our Church School and Youth Ministry are blessed to have a dedicated team who work together throughout the year to maintain a program to provide religious education and activities for our children in a relaxed and loving environment.  We give heartfelt thanks to God for blessing us with such a team: Fr. Andrii, teachers, substitute teachers and aides, students, parents, benefactors, volunteers, council members and caring parishioners.  May God grant all who have made the 2022-23 school year a success.  MANY BLESSED YEARS!  MNOHAYA LITA!
