CHURCH COUNCIL: The meeting is TODAY. All members should plan to attend. Anyone interested in serving on the Council for 2027 should see Vice-President Subdeacon Scott Kerry.

ANGELS CLUB MEMBERSHIP DRIVE: TODAY we will begin a new drive for the 2026-2027 ANGELS CLUB. We welcome all parishioners to become an Angel and help support our Church. The Angels Club’s mission is to help raise money to pay for the heating and air conditioning expenses. Membership includes attending our annual banquet (free of charge) in the fall of 2027, as well as twelve monthly drawings for cash prizes. The 2026-2027 Angels Club Membership Drive letters and Membership Applications are being mailed to your home address. The Membership Drive will be ongoing from September through October 25, 2026. Your support of this fundraiser is greatly needed and appreciated. There will also be some forms in the back of the church for you to take, but look for the mailing this week

CURRENT ANGELS, you will also receive written information and a Dinner Reservation Form for the free banquet scheduled on Sunday, October 4, 2026 @ J. Timothy’s Tavern in your envelope.

ASLEEP IN THE LORD:   The Servant of God, John Kochanowski, strengthened by the Holy Mysteries, fell asleep in the Lord on Friday evening.  Carlson’s Funeral Home will oversee the funeral arrangements; The funeral will be at our church Monday 9:00 AM with calling hours starting at 8:00 AM . God Grant His Servant, John, ETERNAL MEMORY!  ВІЧНА   ПАМ’ЯТЬ!

ПРЕСТОЛЬНЕ СВЯТКУВАННЯ було відсвятковане з радістю та духовним піднесенням минулої неділі. Після урочистої Літургії наші сестриці запросили нас на святковий родинний обід. Велика подяка всім, хто потрудився та взяв участь у цих святкуваннях. Усі зароблені кошти підуть у фонд на відновлення нашого залу.

THE PARISH FEAST DAY Celebration was a truly joyous and spiritually uplifting event last Sunday. After the solemn Liturgy, our sisterhood invited us to a festive, family-style lunch. Many thanks to everyone who worked hard and took part in those celebrations. All the money raised will go to the hall restoration fund. 

 OLGA SISTERHOOD: Thank you to everyone who bought tickets and attended the Pasta Luncheon last Sunday. It was a wonderful success!! We raised almost $900. Special thanks to everyone who helped prepare, serve, and clean up during the event! Thank you also to everyone who donated desserts. Special thanks to the ladies who hung the new curtains in the church hall!

UOL: It’s time to renew or join the UOL. Forms are available in the back of the church!!

PLANNING AHEAD: We will be making potato varenyky in preparation for the festival. We need volunteers on Friday, October 2 at 9 AM and Saturday, October 3 at 9 AM.

COFFEE and… Hosting today is Myroslav Shpylchuk, hosting next Sunday is Samoylyuk Family. Thank you for your continuous support! We don’t have a volunteer for coffee and… for 10/04/2026, we need a volunteer!!

AUTUMN FESTIVAL: Save the date for Saturday, October 24, for our annual Harvest Festival. We are asking each parishioner to bake for the bake table.

Church School opening day has changed to next Sunday, September 27.  Blessing of students and faculty will take place at the close of Liturgy that day.  Parents are reminded to send a signed blue registration form with each child that day.

Happy birthday to Samantha, who will be celebrating her birthday in the coming week.
