PLEASE CONSIDER that the $624 (or $12/week) yearly dues include the $150 per member we send to support our Metropolia. As a result, we have to subtract $150 from $624, leaving us with only $474 per member to cover church expenses for the entire year. We would appreciate your including this amount toward Metropolia dues as an additional contribution to your regular contributions. $774 (or $14.88/week) would be a good amount for both parish and Diocese dues.

В результаті, ми повинні взяти 150 доларів з 624 доларів, залишивши собі лише 474 доларів щоб оплатити парафіяльні витрати за весь рік. Classes will be held today.

TODAY – All those students, teens, and young adults who will be caroling this afternoon should meet in the church hall immediately after Church School. If anyone would enjoy having this fine group of enthusiastic singers come to their home, please see Father during coffee hour.

Congratulations to Anthony, who will be observing his patron saint, St. Anthony the Great, on January 17. May God grant Anthony Many Blessed Years! MNOHII LITA!

LOOKING AHEAD:

February 15 – Father will bless the candles that the 1st Confession class students will carry for the solemn Liturgy the day after confession and will present them to the youngsters. Please make sure your 3rd-grade student is in church that day.

February 1 – Father will bless all of the parish scouts and their leaders, both American and Ukrainian, at the close of Liturgy that day. Scouts are asked to wear their uniforms. We would like to list the names of those scouts in Sunday’s bulletin. Please give the names to Sarah Bailly by Wednesday, February 4. 

If anyone is looking forward to Girl Scout cookies this year, they can be ordered from Cora Josefiak beginning next Sunday, January 18.
