All Saints Church School News

“Pennies from Heaven” – We are thrilled to announce that we have forwarded $915 to Maidan United. This was the total amount collected in our annual Lenten activity. Our most sincere thanks go to all the children who participated and to those of their family and friends who donated. May God grant them all MANY BLESSED YEARS!  MNOHAYA  LITA!

TODAY we will be presenting attendance awards to the student(s) in each Church School class who had the best attendance. Our gratitude goes to the parents of our students for the commitment they have made to consistent participation in our program.

Student News – Congratulations to the following new graduates and to those for special academic achievements:

Grace Monagan graduated from Purdue University in Indiana. Gabrielle O’Neill graduated from Wethersfield High School and will attend Western CT State University in Danbury. Rebekah Bailly graduated from Newington High School and will attend Keene State College In New Hampshire.  Bekah received the Childhood Development Scholarship for her Outstanding Performance in the NHS Childhood Development program, an award from the music department for her commitment to and participation in the choral, orchestral, and dram, programs, an award for her dancing in the recent production of “Into the Woods” and was recently received into the Tri-M music honor society. Rachael Bailly was recently awarded a Magnum cum Laude award for her performance in the recent national Latin examination.  She completed her sophomore year at Newington High School where she received high honors for all four quarters of the 20211-22 school year. Jacob Bailly received a certificate of commendation for Safety and Leadership at Elizabeth Green Elementary School in Newington where he completed the 4th grade. Lilah Irvin received high honors for all 3 terms at the House of Arts, Letters, and Sciences where she completed 6th grade.  She also won 1st place in a district-wide on Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech, and her poem on, bullying was selected for publication. She has won several Student of the Month awards and had a solo in the chorus for the spring concert. Olivia Irvin was on the honor roll for all 3 terms at the Holmes School in New Britain where she completed 2nd grade.  She had a ukulele solo and xylophone solo in her class’s concert. Cora Josefiak received high honors for all 4 quarters at Westbrook Middle School where she completed 6th grade.
