CHURCH COUNCIL: The meeting is NEXT Sunday, September 20. All members should plan to attend. Anyone interested in serving on the Council for 2027 should see Vice-President Subdeacon Scott Kerry.

ANGELS CLUB MEMBERSHIP DRIVE: TODAY we will begin a new drive for the 2026-2027 ANGELS CLUB. We welcome all parishioners to become an Angel and help support our Church. The Angels Club’s mission is to help raise money to pay for the heating and air conditioning expenses. Membership includes attending our annual banquet (free of charge) in the fall of 2027, as well as twelve monthly drawings for cash prizes. The 2026-2027 Angels Club Membership Drive letters and Membership Applications are being mailed to your home address. The Membership Drive will be ongoing from September through October 25, 2026. Your support of this fundraiser is greatly needed and appreciated. There will also be some forms in the back of the church for you to take, but look for the mailing this week

CURRENT ANGELS, you will also receive written information and a Dinner Reservation Form for the free banquet scheduled on Sunday, October 4, 2026 @ J. Timothy’s Tavern in your envelope.

PARISH FEAST DAY: We are celebrating our parish feast day TODAY. Our Sisterhood is offering us a delicious spaghetti lunch after the services. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children ages 3-12, and free for children under 3. All proceeds will go toward updating our hall. Please come and support our Sisterhood!

PLANNING AHEAD: We will be making potato varenyky in preparation for the festival. We need volunteers for the following dates: Friday, October 2 at 9 AM and Saturday, October 3 at 9 AM.

COFFEE and… Thank you to Iryna Veriyenko for hosting coffee and… last Sunday! Hosting next Sunday is Myroslav Shpylchuk. There will be no coffee today, as we will have the Parish Feast Day lunch. Thank you for your continuous support…

PLEASE LOOK AROUND our church on Sunday morning, and if you see some new people don’t hesitate to talk and welcome them. They are the guests in our Lord’s house and your house of worship too. Do not be afraid of language barriers; the language of love is truly universal and the most comprehensible one.

Church School Opening – Next Sunday, September 20, Father Andrii will bless Church School students, teachers, substitute teachers and aides at the close of Divine Liturgy. Following a 15 minute break for a snack, classes will be held for grades 2/3, 4, 5 and 6 and will be dismissed at noon. Grades K/1 and 7/8 will not meet that day. All classes will meet the following Sunday, September 27. Information and registration forms have been mailed and should be received shortly.
Congratulations to the following students who will all be celebrating their patron saints’ days on September 17 – Sts. Sophia, Faith, Hope and Love: Adelina Faith, Sofia SM, Sofiia S and the upcoming 7th grade students. May God grant Adelina Faith, Sofia and Sofiia and the 7th grade students Many Blessed Years!
