OUR EASTER Festival was a success. Many thanks go to those who helped with preparation, execution, and cleaning after the festival. Special thanks to those who made monetary donations. Final numbers are still being calculated and will be reported in the next Sunday bulletin.

LENTEN MISSION: Parishioners will have an opportunity to go to confession with visiting priests on Saturday, April 4, starting at 9:00 AM, with Liturgy beginning at 10 AM. Please mark the date on your calendars. Remember, it is our Christian obligation to confess at least once a year.

Отець Андрій готовий вислухати вашу сповідь до або після будь-яких постових богослужень. Будь ласка, приходьте раніше вранці в суботу або неділю на Сповідь, щоб не перешкоджати своєчасному початку Божественної Літургії.
CONFESSION is an important part of Lent. Every Orthodox Christian must confess during Lent in order to be able to receive Holy Communion on Easter, and to be in good spiritual standing as Orthodox believers. Father Andrii is ready to listen to your confession before or after any of Lenten services. Please come early in the morning on Saturday or Sunday for Confession, not to interfere with start of Liturgy.
CHOIR REHEARSAL: In anticipation of and preparation for the special services of Passion Week and Holy Pascha, there will be brief choir rehearsals after services TODAY and NEXT SUNDAY. The participation of all choir members is expected! РЕПЕТИЦІЯ ХОРУ: Для підготовки до особливих богослужінь Страсної седмиці та Святої Пасхи, відбудуться короткі репетиції хору після богослужінь СЬОГОДНІ та НАСТУПНОЇ НЕДІЛІ. CEMETERY Christmas Decorations and spring cleanup: Please remove all Christmas arrangements by March 31. If not removed, they will be removed by the cemetery committee. Please clean up dry and overgrown vegetation around headstones. Any unmaintained headstones will be cleaned at the cemetery committee’s discretion.
CEMETERY water: Overnight temperatures pending, the plan is to turn the water on mid to late April, pending a repair to the water system. Thank you.
ANGELS CLUB: Congratulations to the winners for the last quarter. They are: January– Natalie Pytlyk, $25; Michelle O’Neill, $15; Joyce Dygus,$10. February – Ivan Pik, $25; Cynthia Sirick, $15; Kathy Dilozir, $10. March – Sarah Bailly, $25; Maria Savitska, $15; Helen Yawiin, $10. We are still welcoming parishioners to become an Angel and help support our Church. The Angels Club’s mission is to help raise money to pay for the heating and air conditioning expenses. Membership includes monthly drawings for cash prizes as well as attending our annual banquet (free of charge) in the fall of 2026. *The forms are located at the entrance of the Church.

TODAY – Church School classes will be held. There will be no classes on April 5 (Palm Sunday) and April 12 (Pascha). Classes will resume on April 19.
TODAY – Fr. Andrii will hear confessions from students in grades 6,7,8 and 9 as well as teens and young adults immediately following Divine Liturgy. Students should remain in the church after the final blessing.
Happy birthday to Veronica and Sophia who celebrated their birthday in the past week. Congratulations to Daria who celebrated her patron saint’s day, St. Daria, on March 19.
“Pennies from Heaven” – Each year, our Church School students participate in a Lenten almsgiving activity, “Pennies from Heaven”. This year’s recipient will be the Maple Leaf House, a charity home in the small village of Stoyaiv in the Lviv region. It is a caring home for girls ages 6-18. Some of them are orphans. Some have parents who cannot take care of them because of alcohol or drug problems, or have been physically abused. Please see any Church School student to make a donation. This activity will continue through April 19. We are blessed to have an anonymous donor matching the children’s collection this year.
