UOL news: As we approach the Nativity Season, it is the time of year for Christian Outreach! We have two projects! Operation Christmas Child and 2) Children in need in Ukraine!! For Operation Christmas Child- suggested items – dolls, toy cars, stuffed animals, kazoo’s, yo-yo’s, balls, pens, pencils, coloring books, toothbrushes, combs, washcloths, sunglasses. For Ukraine – suggested items: candy, small toys, stuffed animals, pajamas, socks, pants, sweats, daily needs (all sizes from 0 – 18 yrs). Our project will begin today and end on 11/16/2025. Monetary donations are welcome to help defray shipping costs! We appreciate your support.

Для України потрібні цукерки, маленькі іграшки, м’які іграшки, піжами, шкарпетки, штани, светри, щоденні потреби (всі розміри від 0 – 18 років). FROM THE CEMETERY Committee: The water at the cemetery will be shut off for the winter season on Saturday, November 1st. Please clean any perennial vegetation around headstones. Hostas are getting overgrown and becoming an eyesore. If they are not maintained, they will be cut down and mowed over. Please assist in keeping our cemetery looking nice. Any unmaintained headstone plants will be trimmed and mowed to the headstone at the discretion of the Cemetery Caretakers. Also, again, Glass IS NOT ALLOWED. This includes candles. We will be starting strict reinforcement of this bylaw. We apologize in advance for removing these glass candles. Our cemetery is not the only one that has these strict policies. It is for the safety of all who visit and walk on the grounds.

Church School classes will be held today. There will be no classes next Sunday, November 9 (Annual Meeting). Classes will resume on November 16.
Happy birthday to Simion who will be celebrating his birthday in the coming week. Congratulations to the following students who will be observing their patron saints days in the coming week: Nov. 7 – Karina – St. Karina, Nov. 8 – 1st grade students – St. Michael the Archangel
Loving thanks go to the Youth Ministry for a much-enjoyed Fall Costume Party last Sunday. Thanks also to the teens and adults who helped to make it so much fun.
IMPORTANT – We have begun to rehearse the program for the St. Nicholas Day celebration (Sunday, December 7 following Divine Liturgy). Parts have been assigned. If you know that your child will not be participating, please let his or her teacher know immediately. Plan on rehearsal and decorating on Saturday, December 6 immediately following Divine Liturgy.
