LOOKING AHEAD: A delicious varenyky brunch will be served immediately after Liturgy on Sunday, February 23. The cost is $12 for adults and $8 for children. We are looking for volunteers to help with this event. Please see Natalia Kyrychenko for more information.

MEMORIAL SATURDAYS: Saturday services to remember the souls of departed parishioners and friends will begin on Saturday, March 8. If you wish to have your loved ones remembered, envelopes to list the names are available at the church entrance. Please give the completed envelope to Fr Andrii by March 1. Please note that Great Lent begins on Monday, March 3.

CAMPING MINISTRY Sunday will be celebrated on February 16th. This event in the life of our Church celebrates, supports, and cultivates our Church’s dynamic camping ministry. It began in 1958 in beautiful All Saints Camp in Emlenton, PA. The lessons learned, and relationships built at camp continue to impact our parishes and the greater community.  MEAT FARE MEMORIAL SATURDAY, February 22: The establishment of the universal ancestral Meat Fare Saturday dates back to the first century of Christianity. This day was chosen because Meat Fare Week reminds us of the future Last Judgment. On the eve of this day, Saturday, as if preceding the Last Judgment, the Church prays especially for all of its reposed children, begging the Lord to have mercy on them and make them partakers of blessed eternal life. We will pray on that Saturday with Memorial Liturgy at 9 AM.

М’ЯСОПУСНА ЗАУПОКІЙНА СУБОТА, 22го лютого: Встановлення заупокійної м’ясопусної суботи датується першим сторіччям християнства. Цей день був обраний тому, що м’ясопусний тиждень (і особливо неділя) нагадує нам про майбутній Страшний Суд. Напередодні цієї неділі, в суботу, яка ніби передує Євангелію про Страшний суд, Церква особливо молиться за всіх своїх спочилих дітей, благаючи Господа помилувати їх і зробити їх причасниками блаженного вічного життя. Ми будемо молитися заупокійною Літургією о 9 ранку.

Happy birthday to Gabriella who will be celebrating her birthday in the coming week.

In addition to Natalie and Cora, Fr. Andrii blessed the following scouts of our parish last Sunday, Scout Sunday: Yulia, Anna, Daria, Zlata, Olexander, Arsen, and Veronika.

Our loving thanks to Kathleen Ustanowski for her generous donation of $100 to the Church School in memory of her brother Tim.  May God grant Kathleen Many Blessed Years, and may He grant Timothy Memory Eternal.

LOOKING AHEAD:  The Youth Ministry’s annual Pre-Lenten Party will be held on Sunday, March 2 in the church hall from 12:30 – 2:30 pm. All children and teens are invited.  Young adult help is most welcome.  CHURCH SCHOOL CLASSES WILL BE HELD
