UOL NEWS: Calling all chefs and bakers – in 2 weeks, on February 11, we will have the Souper Bowl Luncheon!! We need soups and pastries for this event!! Please let Anne Bailly or Terea Linck know if you can make a pot of soup and/or a dessert for this event. Thanks in advance. Money from this event goes to the St. Andrew’s Society. St. Andrew’s Society funds soup kitchens and feeds orphans, the elderly, and soldiers.

PLEASE CONSIDER that the $520 yearly dues do NOT include the amount per member that we send to support our Metropolia, which is $100. As a result, we have to take $100 from the $520 amount, leaving us only $420 per member to pay for church expenses for the entire year. We would greatly appreciate you including this amount for Metropolia dues as extra to your regular contributions. $620 would be the amount for both Church and Diocese dues.

Congratulations to the Grade 3 students who are celebrating their class’s patron saints today: The Three Hierarchs – St. Basil the Great, St. John Chrysostom, and St. Gregory the Theologian. The feast is observed on January 30.
May God grant Arina, Helen, Victor, Violetta, and the 3rd-grade students Many Blessed Years! MNOHAYA LITA!
NEXT SUNDAY, February 4, Fr. Andrii will bless the candles the children in the 3rd grade First Confession class will carry for Divine Liturgy the next day. He will present the candles to the students.
NEXT SUNDAY is SCOUT SUNDAY. Fr. Andrii will bless all of the scouts and leaders in the parish – Girl Scouts/Boy Scouts of the USA, CYM, and Plast. Please send the names of the scouts to Sarah Bailly (ssbailly@cox.net) by Wednesday, January 31, not Cynthia Sirick (computer problem).
