BLESSING OF HOUSES FOR THEOPHANY: Fr. Andrii will begin blessing houses Monday, January 8, 2024. He will start in New Britain and then continue in other cities and towns. Visits can be made in the morning, afternoon, or evening. If you have a preference, please call or text Fr. Andrii at (860) 989-5748. Otherwise, the father will call you to schedule a time.
2024 CHURCH ENVELOPES: Please pick up your 2024 church envelopes at the church entrance and use only them to pay your dues in order to avoid confusion at the end of the year.

WAR IN UKRAINE: A unique “Ornaments for Heroes” project started in our parish last Sunday. You can buy yellow-blue ornaments for $20, 50, and 100 and place them on the tree in the church. Ornaments will be located on the first pew, right before our tree. All proceeds will go to buy supplies for our heroes in Ukraine.

2024 EVENT CALENDAR: Any individual or church group with events scheduled during 2024 should inform President Dr. Paul Szwez as soon as possible to avoid confusion.
PLEASE LOOK AROUND our church on Sunday morning and this Nativity season, and if you see some new people, don’t hesitate to talk and welcome them. They are the guests in our Lord’s house and your house of worship, too. Do not be afraid of language barriers; the language of love is universal and comprehensible.
CHILDREN of our parish will be going out to carol for our shut-ins next Sunday, January 14, after school classes. Please inform Fr. Andrii if your child will be participating. Pizza and other refreshments will be served after the trip. Let’s spread the joy of the Nativity of our Lord!

PLEASE CONSIDER that the $520 yearly dues do NOT include the amount per member that we send to support our Metropolia, which is $100. As a result, we have to take $100 from the $520 amount, leaving us only $420 per member to pay for church expenses for the entire year. We would greatly appreciate you including this amount for Metropolia dues as extra to your regular contributions. $620 would be the amount for both Church and Diocese dues.

There will be no Church School classes today, January 7th.
Classes will resume on Sunday, January 14th.
Immediately following class on January 14th, children in grades four and up (including teens) are invited to go Christmas caroling for our church family shut-ins. We will enjoy pizza and dessert after caroling.
