CHRISTMAS FAIR was a tremendous success thanks to our collective efforts. The numbers are – kitchen $1687; the dessert table $502; UOL/tag sale $328 – before expenses. Many thanks go to those who helped organize, decorate, bake, cook, sell, and clean. We are grateful to our donors, too. Seeing so many of our parishioners and friends help and participate was nice, like in the old good daysJ…
CONFESSION: Have you been to confession recently? Parishioners who receive Communion every Sunday should come to Confession regularly but not less than four times a year – Great Lent, Fast of the Apostles, Dormition Fast, and Nativity Fast. Fr. Andrii will hear Confessions after Saturday services or before and after Liturgy. Please arrive early on Sunday morning for Confession so this won’t interfere with the start of the services. Please keep in mind that only those who prepare themselves with Confession during this Nativity fast will be able to receive Holy Communion at the feast day Liturgy.
DUES ENVELOPS for 2024 are available in the vestibule. Please take them. If your box isn’t there, let Elizabeth Garbovska know.
DUES REMINDER: We will close our dues payment books for 2023 on Sunday, December 31. Please make all payments by then. Otherwise, any amounts received after the 31st will be credited for 2024.

WAR IN UKRAINE: A unique “Ornaments for Heroes” project started in our parish last Sunday. You can buy yellow-blue ornaments for $20, 50, and 100 and place them on the tree in the church. Ornaments will be located on the first pew, right before our tree. All proceeds will go to our heroes in Ukraine.

Enormous thanks go to Sarah Bailly, Kim Irvin, Stephanie Melnyk, Melissa, and Cora Josefiak, and all of the parents and teens who worked so hard to prepare the beautiful St. Nicholas program presented last Sunday. It was the Church School’s gift to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on His Nativity. God bless all who contributed.
We also heartily thank all who donated to the collection of toys for the disadvantaged children in the greater New Britain area. These will be brought to the Marine Center this week for distribution.
