НАШЕ ПРЕСТОЛЬНЕ пройшло надзвичайно радісно і успішно. Велика подяка нашим сестрицям і всім хто потрудився над його проведенням. Особлива подяка голові Сестрицтва Наталі і її мамі Марії Кириченко, Іоанні Орліану і власникам ресторану Esca в Мiddletown, та Олі Угрин.
CHURCH NAME DAY CELEBRATION was a joyous and prosperous event. Many thanks go to our Sisterhood of St. Olga and all of those who made it happen. Special thank you goes to the head of the Sisterhood Natalia and her mom Maria Kyrychenko, to Ioanna Orleanu and owner of restaurant Esca in Middletown, and Olga Ugryn.
CHURCH COUNCIL MEETING: The regular monthly meeting will be held NEXT SUNDAY during “Coffee and…” in the parish hall. Council members are requested to make every effort to attend this meeting.
ATTENTION CURRENT ANGELS CLUB MEMBERS: TODAY is our Annual Banquet, which is being held at J. Timothy’s in Plainville. Please plan to arrive at the restaurant by 12:00 noon. Dinner will start promptly at 1:00 p.m. Thank you!
ANGELS CLUB CAMPAIGN: The 2023-2024 Angels Club Membership Drive is ongoing until October 22, 2023. We welcome “all parishioners” to become an Angel and help support our Church. We all enjoy the nice cool air conditioning during Liturgy in the summer months, and we are grateful for the warm heating in Church during the winter months. This also includes the heating of the Church School for our youngest parishioners. The cost of gas and electricity is a big expense each and every month and takes up a lot of our Church’s income. It is the Angels Club contribution that assists the Church in getting these bills paid. Your charitable donation of $120.00 for membership ($10.00 a month) for the year is tax-deductible! Membership includes attending our wonderful banquet (free of charge) in October 2024, as well as twelve monthly drawings for cash prizes. Please consider joining Angels Club!

SISTERHOOD NEWS: Thank you to everyone who supported the Church Feast Day Luncheon by buying tickets, coming to the event, prepping for the event, cleaning up after the event, making the cakes, and making the food!! It was a very memorable event. Sisterhood still has potato and blueberry pyrohy available for purchase.
UOL CHRISTMAS Projects: Christmas is coming. We want to bring Joy to children this Holy Season by supporting 1) a St. Nicholas Celebration at a church and 2) Operation Christmas Child for children around the world, including Ukraine. Please experience the Love of Christmas by donating small gifts for girls and boys of all ages now through the end of October. Suggested items: toys, crafts and activities, clothing and accessories, personal care items, candy. We will also accept ‘lightly used’ items. Place your donations in the box in the church hall. If you have any questions, contact Anne Bailly. Let us celebrate the Birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, through acts of Kindness toward children suffering in Ukraine and the world. Thank you! Будь ласка, пожертвуйте невеликі подарунки для дівчаток та хлопчиків різного віку до кінця жовтня. Пропоновані предмети: іграшки, вироби та електронні забави, одяг та аксесуари, предмети особистої гігієни, цукерки. Ми також приймаємо “злегка використані” предмети.
