НАШЕ ПРЕСТОЛЬНЕ свято буде святкуватися на наступну неділю, 17 вересня. Митрополит Антоній і Архiєпископ Даниїл святкуватимуть цей радісний день разом з нами. Особливий святковий обід, приготований нашими сестрицями, буде запропонований після богослужіння. Вартість обіду – дорослі $20 (при дверях $25), підлітки 10-18 років $10, діти 10 років і менше – безкоштовно. Сестриці просять про пожертви на покриття витрат. Щира подяка анонімному жертводавцю за $130 пожертву та Іванні Орліану за $100. Ми просимо, щоб усі взяли участь у цих святкуваннях. Приходіть у своїх вишиванках (особливо діти нашої парафії), щоб привітати та помолитися разом з нашими Bладиками. Владика поблагословить наших дітей на початок нового навчального року теж.
CHURCH NAME DAY CELEBRATION will be held next Sunday, September 17. Metropolitan Antony and Archbishop Daniel will be celebrating this joyous day with us with a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy. After the services, a special celebratory lunch sponsored by our Sisterhood will be offered. Tickets are $20 for adults (at the door $25), $10 for teenagers 10-18 years of age, and kids 10 and younger – free. Sisterhood is asking for monetary donations to cover the cost of ingredients. Many thanks go to the anonymous donor for the $130 donation and Ioanna Orleanu for $100. We ask that everyone attend this event in their embroidered outfits (especially the children of our parish) to greet and pray with our Hierarchs. His Eminence will also bless our children at the start of the school year.

ANGELS CLUB: The 2023-2024 Angels Club Membership Drive is ongoing until October 22, 2023. We welcome all parishioners to become an Angel and help support our Church. Many thanks to those who have already sent in their checks. CURRENT ANGELS: Our 15th Celebration Dinner will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2023. Please return your yellow Dinner Reservation Form no later than Sunday, September 24, 2023. Those who can not attend the October 1st dinner should see a member of the Angels Committee to discuss options. If you have not received your yellow dinner reservation form, please let Julie Breen, Joan Kerelejza or Michelle O’Neill know.

Оплата за газ та електрику забирає значну частину церквого доходу. Загальна вартість складає понад $4000 за останній рік. Дякувати Богу, ми маємо Клуб Ангелів, який покриває наші комунальні витрати! Запишіться і Ви до цієї групи благодійників! Вартість членства є $120 на рік, яка може виплачуватись одноразовим внеском або двома платежами. Six ‘Samsung Galaxy Chromebooks Go’ were also donated. This will be an ongoing endeavor to supply the children with technology. Anyone who would like to give a Chromebook, price approx. $105, please see Anne or Iryna. Through your generosity, we sent 5 large boxes. Your tremendous outpouring of Love exemplifies our Church’s long-standing tradition of Kindness and Caring. BENEFACTORS’ PANAKHYDA: Today we will remember with thanks those generous parish members who remembered the church in their wills with at least a $5,000 donation. This money is placed in the Church’s Long Term Investment Fund and was used to pay for the demolition of the funeral home and outside improvements at a cost of more than $175,000. In addition, we remember them by placing their names on a memorial plaque, which is located at the entrance of the church. Please remember these good souls in your prayers. We ask that ALL parishioners stay for this panakhyda. In some cases, these benefactors no longer have a family to pray for their souls, but we will never forget their Christian charity. NEXT SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, all children are asked to be in the church at 8:30 AM in Ukrainian dress (if possible) to greet the hierarchs.
MINI-GOLFING – The Youth Ministry’s annual mini-golfing event will be held TODAY at Safari Golf on the Berlin Turnpike at 12:30, weather permitting.
CHURCH SCHOOL will begin on September 24. Please remember that to be eligible for Church School, a student must be in grades kindergarten through 8th and have at least one parent who is a parish member.
Loving thanks go to all who served “Coffee and…” during the summer and to those who made generous donations to the Youth Ministry. You have provided this group with $575, which will help defray the cost of some of our activities, including the mini-golf event planned for today. May God grant all of you MANY BLESSED YEARS!
