VARENYKY PROJECT: St. Olga’s Sisterhood will be making cabbage varenyky on Friday and Saturday, February 17 and 18 starting at 10:00 a.m. Volunteers are needed. Please plan ahead and come to help. We have potato varenyky and bread available for purchase!!

UOL Souper Bowl Sunday for St. Andrew’s Society is TODAY. St. Andrew’s Society helps fight hunger in Ukraine by feeding the Elderly, Orphans, People with Special Needs, and Soldiers. MOLEBEN (prayer service) to the Mother of God on the 1st year anniversary of the war and genocide of Russia against Ukraine will take place on Friday, February 24 at 7 PM. Come and pray! МОЛЕБЕНЬ до Пресвятої Богородиці буде відслужений в нашій церкві в день трагічної річниці початку війни та геноциду Росії проти України в пятницю 24го лютого о 7ій вечора. Приходіть, і помоліться!

PLEASE HELP your church! We are asking for donations for the renovation of the 1st-floor apartment in the rectory house. This apartment hasn’t been updated in decades; the bathroom and kitchen are in really bad shape. Donations can be sent to the church or given to our treasurer Irene Blumes. Recent donors: anonymous – $250. THANK YOU!

MEMORIAL SATURDAYS: Saturday services to remember the souls of our departed loved ones will begin on Saturday, March 4.  Please, think about them, update your memorial lists, and let the Church pray for them. If you wish to have your loved ones remembered, envelopes to list the names are available at the church entrance. Please give your list to Fr. Andrii before February, 22.

COFFEE and…: Thank you to Irene Blumes, Helen Zeleniuk, and Taras Dilozir for helping with coffee and.. last Sunday! Also, thank you to Helen Zeleniuk for donating a box of individual creamers! Today — Souper Bowl Sunday for St Andrew’s Society!!! We have lots of different soups for you to enjoy. STATEMENTS: The 2022 end-of-year statements are now being prepared and will be available soon. When you use a check to pay your dues, if the name on the check is different from your name, please put your name on the memo line so that you can receive credit. SAVE THE DATE: Our church Easter Festival is scheduled for Saturday, April 1 (snow date April 8).  Please plan to attend. ПАСХАЛЬНИЙ фестиваль запланований на 1 квітня. Зробіть помітку у вашому календарі і плануйте допомогти з підготовкою і проведенням.

JOIN OUR Prayer Group. We get together on Sunday morning at 8 AM and read prayers of preparation for the receiving of Holy Communion. Let’s fill the house of our Heavenly Father with prayers before we welcome His Son in our midst, and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. “My house shall be called a house of prayer.” (Isaiah 56, 7 and Mt. 21, 13)   

YOUR LEGACY: Please remember to include St. Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church in your estate plans.  Take time to reflect on the faith, relationship, and joys you have found by being part of this Church.  Consider naming the Church as a beneficiary in your Will as the Church always welcomes your gifts, those given now or in the future.

LOOKING AHEAD – The annual pre-Lenten party for all of the children of the parish will be held on Sunday, February 26 in the church hall from 12:30 – 2:30 after dismissal from Church School.  Further information will be mailed to the children in the coming week.
