COUNCIL MEETING: The meeting will be held TODAY, after services in the parish hall. Council members are requested to attend, as important expenditure decisions need to be made.
LENTEN SERVICES will be offered every day this coming 1st week of the Great Lent. This is a special time of the year for every Christian. It calls for particular, renewed commitment to more vigorous spiritual life. Try to attend as many of the services as you possibly can. They will be offered both in the morning and in the late afternoon hours. Please, refer to the SCHEDULE OF LENTEN services that is located near the bulletin rack.

MEMORIAL SATURDAYS: Saturday services to remember the souls of departed family members and friends will begin on Saturday, March 8. If you wish to have your loved ones remembered, envelopes to list the names are available at the church entrance. Please give the completed envelope to Fr Andrii TODAY. Please note that Great Lent begins tomorrow Monday, March 3.

Church School classes will be held today.
TODAY the Youth Ministry’s annual Pre-Lenten party will be held in the church hall from 12:30-2:30. All of our children, teens and young adults are invited.
Happy birthday to Artem who will be celebrating his birthday in the coming week.
Next Sunday, March 9, is Orthodoxy Sunday. All of our children are invited to participate in the special procession and are encouraged to bring a personal icon from home to carry. Additional icons will be available in the church.
Pennies from Heaven – The Church School’s annual Lenten Alms-giving collection begins today. This year, we will be collecting for the Prudence Crandall Center for Women in New Britain. It provides support, safety, shelter and education for women and children who find themselves in unsafe places. This event will continue through April 27. Please be generous.
