Inclement Weather \u2013 <\/strong>In the event of inclement weather, check TV channel 3<\/u>.\u00a0 <\/strong>If Divine Liturgy is canceled, there will be no Church School classes.\u00a0 If Divine Liturgy will be served but Church School classes are canceled, families will be notified by text.<\/p>\n

Warm Clothing <\/strong>\u2013 As the weather gets colder, so do some of our classrooms, especially the K\/grade 1 and grade 4 rooms.\u00a0 Please make sure your child is dressed warmly or that he\/she brings a sweater to class which may be safely left there.<\/p>\n

It is inappropriate for the children to keep on their outerwear (coats and jackets).<\/strong><\/p>\n

NICHOLAS CELEBRATION \u2013 <\/strong>This annual program to celebrate the great saint, Nicholas the Wonderworker, will be held on Sunday, December 10 in the church <\/u>following Divine Liturgy. All Church School students <\/u><\/strong>are expected to participate. The schedule for the rehearsal date and performance date is below.\u00a0 If you know that your child will not be present for the rehearsal and\/or the program, please see Sarah Bailly or Cynthia Sirick\u00a0 immediately.<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0 For last minute emergencies please text Sarah Bailly (860-212-3199) or Cynthia Sirick (860-798-1070).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Followed by <\/strong>lunch, decorating the church hall and Christmas trees and making gifts for shut-ins<\/p>\n

    Nativity Pageant Costumes \u2013 <\/strong>We would appreciate help ironing the costumes for the Nativity Pageant.\u00a0 We have more children involved this year and, therefore, have more costumes to iron.\u00a0 See Cynthia Sirick to offer your help.<\/p>\n

    Costumes will be available for pick up on December 3 and must be returned on December 9 or 10.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    STEWARDSHIP<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Nativity Fast Toy Collection \u2013 <\/strong>This annual event will be held From November 19 through December 10.\u00a0 Please donate<\/strong><\/p>\n

    new, unwrapped toys <\/u><\/strong>for the disadvantaged children in the Greater New Britain area.\u00a0 <\/strong>The toys should be placed in the collection boxes in the church hall foyer.\u00a0 Please sign a star on the Nativity icon <\/strong>after making your donation.\u00a0 Thank you.<\/p>\n
